Live broadcast on August 8th, Real Madrid issued a statement last week, denying the rumor that Florentino was ready to leave. However, the world body has carried out follow-up reports on this.

The media pointed out that Florentino would not leave immediately, but it would indeed happen after a critical time node: That was the day when the new Bernabeu stadium was inaugurated. Florentino will prepare a replacement to take over after that. He did not want to repeat the chaos after leaving office in February, 2006. The ruling period of Calderon and boruda only lasted until 2009, and the second entrance Palace of “Lord Buddha” has been re-elected so far.

Florentino hopes that his successor can become an “important member” of the club in the near future and have enough influence. Of course, he must also meet the election criteria: he has been a member of Real Madrid for at least 20 years and is Spanish, can provide at least 15% of Real Madrid’s budget guarantee (about 0.12 billion euros).

In the same statement last week, the club denied the possibility of naming the current Valdebebas sports city Florentino. This proposal itself is correct, but it must not come from the top of the club or even the chairman himself. This proposal must come from other Real Madrid members, which will undoubtedly make his name go down in history, just like San Diego-Bernabeu.

It is reported that Florentino will continue to serve as the chairman of the Real Madrid Foundation after retirement, thus keeping in touch with the club in many fields. Obviously, Florentino’s retirement date is just around the corner. However, this will only happen after the inauguration ceremony of the new Bernabeu (next December to January of the year after next).
