Live broadcast on August 8th, Dutch media reported on Voetbal International that Ajax coach Stein had chosen Belwin as the new captain of the team.
Belwin moved from Tottenham Hotspur to Ajax last summer. So far, he has made 45 appearances for the team, contributing 16 goals and 6 help.
Previously, the captain of Ajax was tadiqi, but he left the team to join Fenerbahce this summer. Now Stein has decided that Belwin will be the captain of the team.
